How to download more than 2 files at a time in Firefox

In Firefox, when you try to download a couple of files at the same time, you might have noticed everything adding up in the download manager but only two files get downloaded from a server at any moment. The process of changing this limitation is pretty simple.

Step 1: Open Firefox and type about:config in the address bar and press 'Enter'

Step 2: Search for network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server by entering this in the filter field.
Step 3: This is set to 2 by default. You can set this to be whatever you want. Double click and set this digit to a higher number preferably under 10 to increase the simultaneous download limit per server.

Now, you can download more than just two files at a time. Anyway, this won't fix it for every server you might download from.
